Chicago Documentary Film Festival 2007
The Chicago International Documentary Film Festival (http://www.chicagodocfestival.org/) has officially begun. After having a couple of days to recover from severe jet lag (after all, it was 42 hours of travelling and various lay overs in Nadi and LA from NZ), it was a glorious start to the festival in a glorious city.
Before I start blogging the festival, I have to say that having never been to Chicago, I had no preconceived assumptions as to the city. Yet, in spite of this, I was quite blown away by the Windy City - the architecture is wonderful, the people friendly and diverse and it's a city with a soul. Highly recommend Chicago for those of you who revel in architecture, music or the arts and the shopping and food just ain't half bad.
